1. How to make a veg sandwich at home?

  • Wheat or White Bread – 6 slices
  • Onion – 1 (big sized)
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Capsicum – 1
  • Sweet corn – 1/2 cup (boiled)
  • Tomato – 1
  • Salt – as required
  • Powdered black pepper or chat masala – 1 teaspoon (optional)
  • Green chillies – 2 (optional)
  • Cheese – As required (optional)

Note: Here I’ve taken the quantity to make 3 sandwiches. Also, you can also reduce the quantity if you like the less stuffing.

You can also add carrot, cabbage and even boiled potatoes to our homemade veg sandwich Personally, I don’t like to have raw tomatoes so I would skip that. The choice is yours, just add whichever veggies you’d like to add.

  1. Finely chop all the vegetables and add salt, black pepper or chat masala to it. Then place them on a slice of bread.
  2. Grate some cheese on them and close it with the other slice of bread.
  3. Preheat your sandwich maker and cook the sandwich from 3 to 5 minutes or till the indicator light shows up.
  4. You can also use a pan to make your sandwiches. Add a piece of butter or oil to the pan and cook the sandwich on both sides until they turn to a slight brown. I don’t like to be overcooked, but if you want you can cook further. Make sure not to burn it.

Your homemade veg sandwich is ready. You can serve it with the homemade tomato ketchup.
